PDF stands for Portable Document Format. This format allows us to put an exact copy of a paper form on our Web site. The form may look fuzzy or grainy on your screen; the print copy will look good. (Reason: your screen has a resolution of only 72-75 pixels per inch and the document has a resolution of 300 or more dots per inch)
In order to view and print one of our documents in pdf format, you need to have the Adobe Acrobat Reader loaded on your pc. The Reader works with Netscape 2.0 or later or Explorer 3.0 or later. The Reader is free and may be downloaded from Adobe's Web site at

Some statistical files on the Internet are in Microsoft's Excel format. If you do not have Excel software, you can download a free Excel Spreadsheet File Viewer. The software is available from the:
web page.Note that if your computer has Excel on it, you do not need the Excel viewer. In fact, installing the Excel Viewer may interfere with running the Excel program.
